We were able to go on lots of fun trips including Nashville, TN to visit Joey and Brynn and their adorable girls. We traveled to Utah for our family reunion in June. Road trips are still fun if you ask me :) Then in August we took a big two week trip to New York city for my birthday. We had an amazing time being complete tourists and hitting up every touristy thing we could think of! Then we ended the year with a trip to Las Vegas to celebrate our two year anniversary! We were there for 3 days and3 nights and it was a perfect amount of time. Not much more needed!
But with all the fun traveling we were able to do... the best news of the year was finding out that we were going to be parents! I found out I was pregnant in July and it has been an adventure ever since. I feel blessed that the Lord has given me a pretty simple and uncomplicated pregnancy and am just hoping that carries over into the labor and birth part.
We will welcome our new little one sometime in the middle of March. And no, we don't know what we are having and we aren't going to find out! I know, people think we're crazy, but it makes the whole thing all the more exciting. If we have a boy, he will be named Jack Ronald after his grandpas and if we have a girl we will name her Eleanor Jane after no one :) We'll most likely end up calling her Elle. We are so excited for this next stage in life and all the joy (and pain) it will bring! Last thing I can think of... we are trying to sell our house. Another reason people may call us crazy. If it doesnt sell soon though, we are going to take it off the market and wait to try again in the summer. We would love to move to Puyallup to be closer to some family and our church (which we are at 3-4 times a week). We also would love to have more space for the little addition and to host friends and family. While our couch is super comfy (just ask Whitney :) ), it doesn't quite work if we want to have friends come visit from out of town. I'll let you know if we get any bites :)
Welp... that's about it for now... i'll keep you posted on how pregnancy and life with the strayers is going. Thanks for reading!
