All the little things…

I am LOVING watching Jack grow up and discover the little things. He is so curious these days and is learning new stuff all the time. He cracks Jason and I up on a daily basis. Here are some of his new favorite things…

- Following us everywhere… bathroom, kitchen, you name it, he’s right there on our heels, waiting to see what we are doing

- Playing the Kazoo! He got a musical instrument pack for his birthday and it has a kazoo. I showed him how it works and it took him no time at all to put it in his mouth and start making lots of noises. He LOVES it… the only thing is he thinks he can stick other things in his mouth too and they will make the same noise. Next we’re working on the harmonica :)

- He makes car noises and drives them around. Cars are a favorite of his and his daddy’s to play with and once he heard daddy make zooming noises, he took right to it!

-Finding crumbs or anything on the floor and handing it to us. It’s like he knows he’s not supposed to have it so he picks it up and hands it to us. Such an obedient child.

- Laughing at daddy doing something as silly as pretending to spit out a toothbrush. And he kept laughing, then picking up the toothbrush, handing it to him as if to say… AGAIN! Jason must have done it a hundred times!

- Eating everything on his plate AND ours. If we have food he crawls right up to us and looks at us with big eyes, doing his ‘more’ sign language till we give him some. He definitely has some Sanchez blood in him :) P1010875

- Pushing any button he can get his hands on. Computers, remotes, xbox controllers, cameras, heating pads, etc. The kid loves buttons

- Following his dad EVERYWHERE! He is so in love with him! He even cries when he leaves! I love the relationship that is building between them P1010872

- Playing in the water… whether that’s the bath or the cats water bowl. But the bath is his favorite, he practically dives in before it’s even ready. As soon as he hears the water, he gets super excited. Kicking is a favorite game to play while in there, as well as throwing toys out

And Baby makes 4!

Yes, you read that correctly. I know I don’t post on here often, but I thought this was definitely worth sharing! We are expecting baby number 2 in October and couldn’t be more excited! I was a little shocked at first, realizing that the new baby and Jack will only be 19 months apart! But I have been reassured by many a veteran mother that it will be tough, but so worth it. I am only 6 weeks along and the morning sickness has reared its ugly head. I didn’t really have it with Jack so this is a new phase for me! I just keep telling myself, it won’t last forever!

Here are some things I am really looking forward to…

The smell of a little newborn… that moment after all the hard work when we find out if it’s a boy or a girl… hearing the cry of a newborn… watching Jack be a big brother… bringing our new baby home… introducing Jack to his new sibling… changing poopy diapers that don’t smell… and many more things!

We are continuing to pray for a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby. We appreciate your prayers as well!
